All furniture becomes tired with use and a full restoration may be needed but sometimes there are procedures that can rejuvenate the existing finish. If this is not the case then we can strip back to bare wood and remove marks before re-polishing and restoring it to its’ former glory.
Some pieces of furniture or structural items, such as fitted kitchens, staircases or wood floors cannot be physically taken to the workshop. For these we offer an onsite restoration service. We use various finishes from the traditional French polish to modern day pre-catalysed and polyurethane lacquers.
We can produce paint finishes in many colours which are available in any format. Even exterior coating can be catered for. Spray finishes in paint and clear lacquer are all the fashion at the moment, whether for freestanding furniture or fitted units, RP Polishing are experts in restoration.
Traditional hand finishes have also stood the test of time for centuries and still enhance the natural beauty that wood holds.
